Platinum Recording Artist Trina, the self proclaimed “Baddest Chick in the Game” speaks to Rob Sauthoff about her NEON Rockstarr, her new music and recent rumors.
Q: Trina, tell me about how you connected with Keyshia Dior of KA’OIR Cosmetics for NEON Rockstarr?
Trina: Keyshia has a fabulous line of product. Her line is like a rainbow of colors and we got creative together and came up with a name and shade that best represented me. It’s been a lot of fun and interesting to work on this.
Q: Sounds exciting. Tell me about the new scent that you are also releasing.
Trina: The new perfume is called Pink Diamond Couture and is available now. It’s a Holiday Season special. I had a fragrance out already called Diamond Princess which did really well and we wanted to give the fans another scent to add to their collection. I am a perfume fanatic. I love different scents and it’s something I am really excited to be a part of because it’s something I enjoy doing.
Q: Do you have someone who comes in and does your make up and hair on a daily basis or do you do your own as well?
Trina: I have a hair stylist in Miami and she works with me a lot. The only thing I do is I will put my hair in a pony tail and that’s if I am just going to the gym or not doing anything. Otherwise, I am so clumsy with the curlers and things like that. I am liable to mess it all up, so I need her around to make it happen for me.
Q: Trina, one of my twitter followers wants to know. We saw you on Lala Anthony’s VH1 Reality show, where she set you up on a blind date. Have you gone out with Hollywood Hino anymore?
Trina: You know what. I have not gone out with him again. It was a one date thing. We had a nice dinner and a good conversation. He is a really great guy. He is a trainer and he’s into boxing. Although we haven’t gone out anymore, the date we had was nice. I had fun.
Q: Trina, the fashion and cosmetics are great but your fans are also waiting to hear some new music. When can we expect another record?
Trina: I am in the studio right now working on some new music. I should have something new for my fans the beginning of next year. I think my fans will be delighted with the new music I am making too.
